BREAKING Zach Hyman Has Been Traded.

"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas have found Zach Hyman a new home. According to multiple reports, Hyman will be traded to the Edmonton Oilers once the transaction freeze is lifted today. It'll likely be a mid to late round pick coming back the other way for Toronto. As for the contract, if it's a trade the deal will likely be $5million AAV. If the Leafs and Oilers can't figure out a trade, Hyman is expected to sign a 7 year deal with Edmonton for $5.5million AAV. Do you think Hyman will fit in well with the Oilers?

Can confirm the Edmonton #Oilers have both 7 and 8 year contracts agreed to with Zach Hyman. EDM and TOR are working to execute a sign & trade which will pay Hyman 8 yrs. at around $5M. Salary comes in higher in middle of contract and includes some no move protection. #Leafs
