"It's no secret, the bubble is about to pop in Toronto. Somethings going down as Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas tries to free up some cap space. We all know that Patrick Marleau and Nikita Zaitsev are gone but TSN's Darren Dreger reported on Thursday that Dubas is seriously taking offers on both Kasperi Kapanen and Nazem Kadri. According to Dreger it would take a defenseman back in a trade to land Kapanen while Dubas is looking for a centre to part with Kadri. The NHL insider adds that it's more than likely Connor Brown is gone as well.
