Buffalo Sabres forward Dylan Cozens is reportedly on the cusp of being acquired by one of the Maple Leafs' heated Atlantic Division rivals.

Several weeks ago, the Maple Leafs emerged as a potential suitor for Buffalo Sabres forward Dylan Cozens.
There was some skepticism that Cozens, a former 1st round pick, would be dealt before the deadline, but it appears as though such a deal will indeed come to fruition. Unfortunately, however, he will not be headed to Toronto.
According to reporter Chad DeDominicis, the Ottawa Senators have swooped in and are working on a trade to bring Cozens to Ottawa, with Josh Norris being the centerpiece of the trade headed back to Buffalo.
The Maple Leafs have yet to complete a single trade ahead of the trade deadline, which is somewhat concerning, given the names coming off the board and their landing spots.
Florida landed Seth Jones and Vitek Vanecek, Tampa Bay has acquired Yanni Gourde and Oliver Bjorkstrand, and now the Senators appear to have nabbed the aforementioned Cozens.
**UPDATE**
The trade is now official, per the Ottawa Senators' official Twitter account.
With how quiet they've been, the Maple Leafs have some work to do and only a little over 3 hours in which to do it.
