We've known since practically the starting of the season that the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to add a forward before the trade deadline. Various names have swirled around the internet on who that could be and it seems that things could be ramping up. NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reports in his latest edition of "31 Thoughts" that the Leafs are expected to make a move within the next 14 days. Rather than wait until the trade deadline, Friedman says the Leafs are looking to make the move now to get the jump on the 14 day quarantine period. Recent reports had the Leafs' linked to Filip Forsberg, Mikael Granlund and Eric Staal. Forsberg is more than likely off the table because of salary cap restraints leaving the most likely scenario either Granlund or Staal. Who would you like to see general manager Kyle Dubas pick up?
