Last summer, the hope was that the Maple Leafs would find a way to retain the services of O'Reilly after paying a premium to bring him in ahead of the deadline in 2022-23. Unfortunately for fans in Toronto, O'Reilly couldn't leave fast enough, with concerns over the make-up of the roster and the bright lights and overwhelming attention in the city. In the end, he settled on a multi-year deal with the Nashville Predators.
Now, it appears as though O'Reilly may intend to live in Nashville full-time, as his fully-loaded mansion in Goderich, Ontario has officially gone to market.
The property features a hockey rink in the basement, an outdoor beach volleyball court, and a near commercial sized gym. Check out the video walkthrough below!
O'Reilly played in just 13 regular season games and 11 playoff games during his brief run in Toronto, and was a part of the Maple Leafs team in 2023 that succeeded in moving past the first round for the first time in almost 2 decades.
The 33-year-old enjoyed a productive first season with the Predators in 2023-24, amassing 26 goals and 69 points across 82 games. He hopes to improve on those numbers in 2024-25 with the additions of Steven Stamkos, Jonathan Marchessault and Brady Skjei to the Preds locker room this summer.
