"«We've got to regroup. We've got to figure out who wants to commit to playing for the team.» That is what goaltender Frederik Andersen said after Thursday's night 3-2 overtime loss at the Philadelphia Flyers. For the second straight game, Andersen and the Maple Leafs took a shutout into the third period only to lose in overtime. Andersen showed a rare emotional side in the Leafs locker room after the latest disappointment. «We're not tired,» said Andersen, per Joshua Kloke of The Athletic. «I think it's a lack of effort at certain points. It certainly can't happen. We got to figure this out if we want to play any meaningful hockey later. We have to figure this out. «We're sitting pretty good, I think we've got it pretty comfortable, but that can't be any reason for not playing the right way. We've got to be ready when it comes to past the [all-star] break here. It's going to be a lot tougher with teams trying to catch us. We can't slide like this.» The Maple Leafs are now in the midst of a season long four-game losing streak and only have two wins in their last nine games; both of them coming in a shootout. Thankfully for them, they are not in danger of losing third place in the Atlantic Division as they are still 12 points ahead of the Detroit Red Wings. "
