Frederik Andersen To Start Again Tonight?
"The Toronto Maple Leafs return to Scotiabank tonight and will host Nazem Kadri and the Colorado Avalanche. While Kadri's return to Toronto was expected to be the main storyline, tonight's starting goalie might take that hype. At the start of the week, head coach Sheldon Keefe said that Frederik Andersen would start in Philly and Michael Hutchinson would then play Colorado in Toronto because it wouldn't be fair to play Freddy back to back. However looking at today's practice, it might seem that Keefe has thrown that idea out the window. Kristen Shilton of TSN reports that Andersen is not on the ice for practice this morning which would likely indicate that Andersen gets the start tonight. She adds that making the move could be the equivalent of hitting the panic button. We'll have to wait until later on to see who Keefe confirms as the starter. I said last night on the @TSN1050Radio #Leafs post-game show that, after Keefe said on Monday it would be "selfish of us" to start Andersen on back-to-back nights at this point, doing so would be akin to pushing the panic button.
