With a combination of an outside factor, the Leafs could get the win tonight. Here's what needs to happen: the Leafs are officially in if they beat the Florida Panthers at home tonight AND the Philadelphia Flyers lose to the Colorado Avalanche in regulation. Toronto currently holds the third playoff spot in the Atlantic Division while Philly holds the first Wild Card spot.
The Leafs would be the second Canadian team to clinch a playoff spot after the Winnipeg Jets recently clinched theirs.
