"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas have pretty much wrapped up their offseason shopping. However there's still two in house contracts that need to be taken care of. Dubas needs to sign restricted free agents Ilya Mikheyev and Travis Dermott. While there's no rush to sign Dermott, it's a bit of a different story with Mikheyev holding arbitration rights. NHL insider Elliotte Friedman was able to get a hold of the arbitration filings and the two sides are pretty far off to start. "Arbitration filings on Mikheyev (TOR): Team is 2 years at $1M. Player is one year at $2.7M. Remember: team goes in low, player goes in high"So the Soup Man wants close to $3million a year. The 26 year old did miss some time because of injury, but when he was on the ice he registered 23 points in 39 games which included eight goals.
