JT has lived up to every expectation so far this season and has set a new franchise record while doing it. Thanks to his four goal game last night, Tavares now has 45 goals, the most ever by a player in his first year with the Leafs. He also became the first Leaf in 25 years to score 42 goals in a season and became the eighth player in franchise history to record multiple hat tricks in his first season with the team.
