Anaheim Ducks' defenseman Josh Manson sits as the second top target. The 28 year old has two years left on his contract that carries an AAV of $4.1million. What would it cost to land Manson? Likely Kasperi Kapanen and Cody Ceci's expiring contract. The 6'3 224lb defenseman would bring some physicality to the Leafs blueline with a nasty punch and fits perfectly beside Morgan Rielly. According to James Mirtle and Jonas Siegel, it would create a shutdown pairing of Jake Muzzin and Justin Holl to go up against other team's top lines. Would you make this trade?
