The Toronto Maple Leafs weren't able to close out their three game series against the Winnipeg Jets on top. A very disappointing loss to the Jets on Saturday by a 5-2 score had everybody wondering where Thursday's team went. Head coach Sheldon Keefe spoke just over a week ago about how dangerous it is to start forming losing habits and that's what it looked like yesterday. Pretty much zero effort or fight in the team and it showed in the final score. When speaking about the game, Keefe almost sounded broken. "I thought we had a real hard time stringing together two passes tonight."
"We just didn't have a good game. We weren't sharp mentally, weren't sharp physically, couldn't get our game going. We just weren't even close tonight with how we played."When it comes to Sunday's game against the Senators, even though Keefe sounds like he wants to make some changes he doesn't sound like he'll be able to. "We don't have much flexibility at all to be able to make lineup changes within our roster how it is so we're not expecting any changes."What do you think about Keefe's comments?
