Keefe Says There's Been A Pattern In Kapanen's Behaviour.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Kasperi Kapanen has been listed on the trade block mostly because of his value as a player. However thanks to recent events, it seems he might be on the block for other reasons. Kapanen was scratched on Saturday night as he was disciplined by the team. Kapanen admitted that it's not the first time he's been late and he's been late for practices and meetings going back to his Marlies days. Head coach Sheldon Keefe said Kapanen was disciplined because his behaviour has become a pattern, and while Keefe said he's not trying to make a big deal out of this, he revealed it's been happening since before he even took over the team.
Sheldon Keefe said #Leafs are pretty forgiving, but there was pattern in Kasperi Kapanen's behavior dating back to before Keefe's arrival and team felt it needed to be addressed. Also stressed he's not making big deal of situation.

I also don't think it's necessary to make this a bigger deal than it needs to be. It was very innocent.
