The Toronto Maple Leafs snuck by the Ottawa Senators last night and got their revenge for the loss earlier this weekend. It was pretty much a goalie showdown as Frederik Andersen looked sharp as did Matt Murray at times with both goalies holding strong and the Leafs registering the 2-1 win. The win was a good thing, however the win was also another sign that the Jimmy Vesey experiment looks done in Toronto. Vesey was demoted to the fourth line last night and only registered 7:31 of ice time on 12 shifts. NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reports that the Alex Galchenyuk acquisition is pretty much an indication that's it's over for Vesey. What have you seen from Vesey? The 27 year old has two goals and one assist in 17 games so far this season.
