Leafs Give Update Regarding Rasmus Sandin.

"The Toronto Maple Leafs keep their season rolling along and sit in first place of the Scotia North Division. There's been some injuries here and there but nobody's season has crashed as hard as Rasmus Sandin's. The young defenseman complained about ice time and not getting to play which led to him getting his first game. Unfortunately after that game and registering an assist, he was sent down to the AHL where he suffered an injury during his first game. The Leafs decided to give it a bit of time before re-evaluating the situation and the follow up was bad news. On Thursday the team announced that Sandin has suffered a fracture in his foot and will be re-evaluated in mid-March and the team will provide more details at the time.

As a follow up on Marlies defenceman Rasmus Sandin's injury which he suffered last Monday (Feb. 15), further evaluation has confirmed he has a fracture in his foot. He will be re-evaluated in mid-March and the club will offer a further update at that time.
