"Toronto Maple Leafs 43 pts (21-13-1)@Columbus Blue Jackets 41 pts (20-13-1)7:30 p.m. ETNationwide Arena Columbus, OHTV: Sportsnet The Toronto Leafs look to start another win streak as they go for their second straight win Wednesday night. The team will be on the road for a matchup in Columbus against the struggling Blue Jackets who have lost two straight games and three of their last four. To make matters worse for the Jackets, in two of their four losses they've allowed seven goals including their most recent a loss, a 7-2 beat down at the hands of the Bruins on Monday night. That doesn't bode well for the Blue Jackets with the Leafs coming off an 8-1 win against the Carolina Hurricanes. Leafs winger Mitch Marner had it going Tuesday afternoon with a four point effort against the Hurricanes highlighted his first goal in 15 games. It'll be a battle of the backups as the Leafs will send Curtis McElhinney between the pipes to face Joonas Korpisalo of the Blue Jackets. Columbus will also be without defenseman Zack Werenski. "They're going to give you no room here today and that's how the game's going to start like most nights, so we're going to have to find a way to execute with no space and as the game goes on create more and more for ourselves." -- Maple Leafs coach Mike Babcock.
