"The Toronto Maple Leafs are rolling along at training camp and general manager Kyle Dubas continues to get busy behind the scenes. Unfortunately the latest behind the scenes news isn't exactly the best. According to reports it seems one Leafs' prospect is ready to ditch the Leafs' organization to play in the KHL. Reports indicate that even with a year left on his entry level contract, forward Egor Koshkov is negotiating a contract with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the KHL. The 24 year old played in one game for the Leafs this season and registered his first career goal however didn't get another shot. Koshkov also suited up for 44 games with the Marlies and registered 16 goals and nine assists. Koshkov and the Leafs would likely have to mutually agree to terminate his contract if the youngster does decide to head to the KHL next season.
