The Toronto Maple Leafs have now lost two games in a row and three out of their last four. The team's defensive struggles are highlighted by their goals for and goals against struggles as they currently only have a goal differential of +1. After last night's 4-2 loss to the Boston Bruins, Leafs' forward Auston Matthews says the team needs to look themselves in the mirror. "We need to be better and I think it comes from the leadership group. I need to be better. All of us need to be better. We just need to look each other in the eye and hold each other accountable." Lack of discipline and defensive lapses are killing them. "It's just been the same thing kind of over and over for us," After Matthews called Saturday's win against the Bruins a statement game, the team has not looked too good.
