The Toronto Maple Leafs will be back on the ice tomorrow after a nice little break. Head coach Sheldon Keefe has been mixing up the lines a bit at practice recently however the Auston Matthews line has stayed intact. Matthews has been skating with Mitch Marner since the start of the season and Zach Hyman since Joe Thornton went down with an injury. Despite the team's start to the season and Matthews' 10 points in nine games, Matthews isn't happy and is looking for more from his line. «I'd like to see our line … I feel like we have little dips and then we have moments where we're really on it, creating a lot of offensive zone time,» Matthews said. «We want to stay consistent throughout the 60 minutes and apply pressure nonstop on the other team and collectively play in the offensive zone as much as possible.» The forward expects a nice effort on Thursday after the almost week long break. «It has been a bit of a shotgun start to the season, so it'll be nice to re-energize, regroup as a team,» Matthews added. How do you feel about the Marner-Matthews-Hyman line so far?
