"The Toronto Maple Leafs found themselves in the loss column once again this time thanks to a 4-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. The Leafs now find themselves just 3 points ahead of the last place Montreal Canadiens and 7 points behind the first place Florida Panthers. There wasn't really any point the Leafs looked in control, after a 1-0 lead following the first period the Canes scored 3 goals in the second period and never looked back. Panic has set in across the fan base and media wondering how long this can continue and making it clear a 2-4-1 start to the season is unacceptable. Star forward Auston Matthews feels otherwise and would prefer everybody just chills out. "I think that noise and that panic from the outside can't shake us — because there's no reason it should. It's still early, and we're still trying to figure out our game,» Matthews said. «Within the room, we realize, obviously, that we need to play better. But at the same time, it's not like the end all, be all. Like, it's not the end of the world right now.»What do you think of Matthews comments?
