Max Domi shares special message with Hollywood mega-star Mark Wahlberg

Domi, who signed a 1-year deal worth $3M this past season to join his favourite childhood team, posted a photo of he and Wahlberg standing outside a local restaurant in Toronto with the caption "Happy Birthday Mark! Love ya bud."

Wahlberg celebrated his 53rd birthday on June 5th, which made me do a double-take, as Wahlberg looks much younger than 53.

Domi, being his father's son, has made connections with many notable celebrities in his lifetime. Now an NHLer himself, Domi is now recognizable based on his own merit as well.

It's unclear if this photo is a new photo, with Wahlberg celebrating his birthday in Toronto this week, or if Domi was simply sharing an older photo. Domi, along with his father, Tie, are partners with Wahlberg in a tequila line called "Flecha Azul".

Domi, a Toronto resident for many years, is currently engaged in contract negotiations with the Maple Leafs after posting 47 points in 80 games this season.
