Last week it seemed all hope was lost when it comes to the Toronto Maple Leafs and William Nylander. The two sides seemed to be too far apart and a trade was inevitable, however now the opposite seems true. Some optimism has started to shine that a deal is possibly around the corner and Babcock hinted that the team would be getting some key pieces back. Babcock was asked about those comments and if it meant Nylander would be back soon. "I'm confident, hopeful. I mean Willy loves hockey. I know Willy good -- he's a great teammate and a good person -- and he loves hockey. He wants to play hockey. So I'm betting on that. How's that?"Could a deal be reached this weekend?
