Mike Babcock Confirms Leo Komarov's Return Date
"Leo Komarov was back on the ice with his Toronto Maple Leafs teammates today, but he will not be in the lineup at the New York Islanders of Friday night. Instead, the former All-Star will get back on the ice on Saturday night when the Maple Leafs host the Winnipeg Jets.
"We thought he was playing tomorrow, so we just talked about it here and decided we are going to go with him on Saturday instead. He was playing one of them, he was just not playing two of them,» head coach Mike Babcock said after today's morning skate, per Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun.
In case you are wondering where Komarov will slot in on Saturday, that is still to be determined as he did not take any line rushes today. Mike Babcock confirms Leo Komarov will return to the Leafs lineup on Saturday when the Jets visit the ACC
