William Nylander was among a handful of Leafs that hilariously failed BarDown's 'Goal Horn' challenge, proving an Atlantic division rival still haunts them.

During their media day to kick start training camp last week, a handful of Maple Leafs took part in a 'Goal Horn' Challenge from BarDown. William Nylander, Morgan Rielly, Mitch Marner, Joseph Woll, John Tavares, Auston Matthews, Max Domi, Matthew Knies, and Anthony Stolarz all participated in an attempt to recognize 10 goal horns.

To begin the challenge, the players listened to their own goal horn and struggled to identify it. Many failed to identify the Leafs' goal horn until they were told that it was the one 'they hear the most'. Tavares, Knies and Domi correctly questioned if it was the Leafs' although many admitted they all sound the same when in the game. Nylander, however, still guessed wrong when given the hint, asking 'is it Boston?', showing that the defeats at the hands of the Bruins in the playoffs still haunt him. When told it was the Leafs' own horn, Nylander burst out laughing.

The Leafs were also asked about the variety of goal songs they had including Hall and Oates which was their goal song for years, much to the dismay of Leafs fans and apparently Domi.

"Hall and Oates is terrible. The worst. Thank god we switched that. It's just bad - not the vibe." - Domi on the Leafs' old goal song

With the Leafs opening the season at home against Kyle Dubas and the Pittsburgh Penguins on October 12th, here's hoping that we may get to hear a new goal song this season after testing out a few last season.
