The Toronto Maple Leafs have rewrote the franchise record books throughout the season. The team has hit new marks for franchise wins, points, home wins and more, while players like Auston Matthews and goalie Frederik Andersen have set new individual marks. Last night, forward William Nylander needed just 11 seconds on the power play to give the Leafs a 1-0 lead and by the end of the game had helped Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner and himself set a new franchise record together. The trio have now become the first three players in franchise history to hit 60 points in both of their first two seasons. The hype is real. Nylander's 20th goal of the season also activated a $212k contract bonus and he become the sixth Leafs player to hit the 20 goal mark this season. The 21 year old is also the third player to hit the 60 point mark this season and now sits just one point shy of matching the 61 points he registered last year.
