"After losing Frederik Andersen to free agency, it didn't long for Toronto Maple Leafs' general manager Kyle Dubas to fill the hole. Almost done at the same time, the Leafs signed goalie Petr Mrazek to a free agent contract handing out a AAV of $3.8million over three years. It's a bit of a gamble for the Leafs however his deal will expire at the same time as Auston Matthews, William Nylander and Jake Muzzin so he's not a one year bandaid. The good thing about it is that Mrazek is used to sharing the net and no stranger to the 1A 1B goalie tandem. The 29 year old is looking forward to working with Jack Campbell. «I don't know Jack personally,» Mrazek said not long after the signing was announced, «But I heard a lot of great things about him from my previous teammates. I can't wait to partner with him because the last three seasons in Carolina, I always had great guys with me. We always found a way to be better, how to push (each other) to get better. I'm looking forward to working with him.»
Mrazek battle injury last year and only played 12 games but registered a 2.06 goals against average and .923 save percentage. What do you think of the goalies comments?"
