We know the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to add some more size up front especially with both Joe Thornton and Wayne Simmonds out. While Thornton is back soon, he doesn't bring the grimey play that Simmonds does. With Simmonds gone for at least six weeks, it seems the Leafs have turned their attention to the Minnesota Wild as a possible solution. Reports indicate the Maple Leafs have reached out to the Wild regarding forward Ryan Hartman. The 26 year old registered 20 points in 69 games last season along with 69 penalty minutes. He scored 19 goals in his first full season with the Blackhawks in 2016-17 but was only able to hit double digits once since. He's on the final year of his current contract that carries an AAV of $1.9million before he heads into restricted free agency next year. We've heard the Leafs have been willing to give one of Travis Dermott or Mikko Lehtonen and possibly forward Pierre Engvall in other potential deal. Would you bring Hartman on to the team?
