"It was revealed earlier this week that the Toronto Maple Leafs are open to moving defenseman Tyson Barrie. Barrie hasn't really fit into the Leafs style of play and considering he'll likely take a shot at free agency this summer, general manager Kyle Dubas has been looking for "a better defensive fit". Yesterday we learned from NHL insider Frank Seravalli that the Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks, Vegas Golden Knights and Carolina Hurricanes are showing interest.Following that report, Seravalli went into a bit more detail regarding the Flames interest. Seravalli says that Leafs have discussed a 1 for 1 trade with Calgary that would see the Leafs landing TJ Brodie in return of Barrie. Like Barrie, Brodie is UFA after this season.Would you make this trade?
Frank Seravalli says the Leafs have talked about Brodie for Barrie 1 for 1 with Calgary, VGK is interested in Barrie if they can sign him to an extension, Carolina and Vancouver also interested — J (@Account4hockey) February 21, 2020
