With good news usually comes bad news and it seems that's what's happening in Toronto right now. According to Chris Johnston of Sportsnet, both Zach Hyman and Travis Dermott are ready to return from injury. It's good news, however it also means the Leafs need to make some roster moves. According to Elliotte Friedman, the Leafs have been actively trying to shop a forward. While some would think it's Jason Spezza due to his treatment by head coach Mike Babcock, it's actually Nic Petan. "The Maple Leafs have let it be known they will move him to see if there is another team that will give him more of an opportunity to play than he is receiving in Toronto." Petan is signed through 2020-21 at a cap hit of $775k per season.
