"The Toronto Maple Leafs will be looking to add some pieces this offseason that will hopefully get them over the playoff hump. Toronto simply just can't get the job done when it counts, and they're hoping next year will be the year. Head coach Sheldon Keefe will have the opportunity to bring in his own coaching staff as the team cleaned house last week and only assistant Dave Hakstol survived. According to Elliotte Friedman, some big changes will happen roster wise as well. Friedman has already reported the team will make a strong push to try and sign Radko Gudas and according to Friedman they'll also make another push to try and bring Joe Thornton in. «It may depend on what happens with Spezza, because I don't know if you can have both of them, but I think Joe Thornton will be on Toronto's radar, too. Not the first time I've predicted it, but someday I might actually be right.»
Would you like to finally see Thornton in a Leafs' uniform?
