The Toronto Maple Leafs are in Arizona to play the Coyotes tonight but beforehand, Brendan Shanahan and Kyle Dubas held a press conference. After a brief statement and meeting with the media yesterday by Shanahan, the duo went into more detail today. One of the first questions that was asked to Shanahan was if the players gave up on their coach. While Shanahan wouldn't say they did, he did state that it was clear, belief among the players was gone. "You could see the frustration in their eyes [last game]. There was a belief missing in them. When things are going poorly like that, a lot of things are running through their minds and you could see it in their faces."
Shanahan also reiterated that the struggles recently weren't just on Babcock, but also on the players. "It wasn't just Babcock or just the players, it was a combination of the two."What do you think of Shanahan's comments?
