Tyson Barrie On Trade Block?
The Toronto Maple Leafs had another disappointing loss last night as they dropped their game 5-2 to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Despite the loss, the Maple Leafs hold onto third place in the Atlantic Division with the Florida Panthers two points behind them while Buffalo and Montreal sit eight points behind them. We've seen the Leafs use their upcoming UFA's as own rentals before and letting them walk during free agency.Could we see it again with Tyson Barrie?Last night on Sportsnet Elliotte Friedman and Brian Burke both mentioned that Tyson Barie could be traded rather than kept around. They added trading Barrie isn't waving the white flag. It's almost guaranteed that the Leafs won't be keeping Barrie after this season because of salary cap restrictions so the team could take advantage of the heightened market place for defensemen. The Leafs will likely be without their first round pick for the next two drafts so they could move Barrie looking for assets. Would you be willing to move Barrie or keep him for the playoff run?
