Some things in life are definitely worth witnessing and this just happens to be one of them!

Monday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome during the Washington Capitals and Calgary Flames game's first intermission, a young hockey player saw his moment and seized it in front of a crowd of approximately seventeen thousand fans in attendance.

This young player participated in a shootout attempt during the first intermission. Not only did he completely deke the goalie out and leave him lying down face first on the ice, the kid skated down the ice after his goal and celebrated by doing the worm.

Julian McKenzie, a journalist with 'The Athletic' reported on this during the game and stated that this might be the coolest kid alive and it's fair to say many fans think the same.

There have been plenty of goal celebrations over the years at all levels of hockey that became popular such as Teemu Selanne with the sharpshooter, Tiger Williams riding the 'witches broomstick', and Bobby Orr flying through the air, but this kid doing the worm may have taken the cake.

On a Monday night that had only two NHL hockey games, this kid's goal celebration may have been the highlight of the night!
