We're one week away from the trade deadline and the dominoes are starting to fall as Leafs trade target Josh Manson has been traded to the Colorado Avalanche.

In return, the Ducks are getting prospect Drew Helleson, who was a 2nd round pick of the Avs in 2019. Helleson is having a great season with Boston College after playing for Team USA at the World Juniors and Olympics. A 2nd round pick in 2023 will also be going to the Ducks in the deal.

The Avs are adding a physical top-4 defender who will help Colorado immensely in the playoffs. It's a steep price but one that's should be worth it for GM Joe Sakic.

Manson is the first of three Ducks who are expected to be moved at the deadline to come off the board. Hampus Lindholm and Rickard Rakell are the other two and the Leafs are reportedly interested in both of them.
