Don't look now, but another one of Leafs GM Kyle Dubas' draft picks from 2018 has been recalled by the team. According to the Leafs' official PR account on Twitter, the team has called up forward Semyon Der-Arguchintsev on Sunday afternoon.

Der-Arguchintsev was the Leafs' 3rd round pick that they received from the St. Louis Blues in the deal to move back a handful of spots in the first round to draft Rasmus Sandin. The Moscow native has played just 77 games for the Marlies over the past 3 seasons, racking up 54 points over that span.

This could simply be a call-up to give "SDA" a chance to practice with the team and collect a few days of NHL pay, but if he does make his way into his first career NHL game during this call-up, Der-Arguchintsev will be the 6th pick out of 9 total picks in 2018 to have played in the NHL, joining Sandin, Sean Durzi, Mac Hollowell, Filip Kral and Pontus Holmberg. That's an absurd conversion rate and the highest in the NHL from the 2018 draft.

So far this season with the Marlies, SDA has notched 6 goals and 12 assists for 18 points in 20 games. He's been producing well above the rate at which he produced last season. In 2021-22, Der-Arguchintsev posted 13 goals and 32 points in 51 games with the Marlies.
