The ''Freedom Convoy'' appears to be growing both in size and in notoriety this week, likely due in part to the amount of support that the movement is receiving from higher profile allies. Some of these high profile supporters include Don Cherry, Mike Fisher and even Elon Musk.

The convoy has reached as many as 500 vehicles in total, possibly more, and is making its way across the entire country as a way of peacefully protesting the mandates surrounding COVID-19 vaccines for cross-border travel.

It appears as though we can add another family of supporters from the hockey community, as Veronique Fleury, the wife of NHL goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, has posted the following photos on her Instagram account.

Mrs. Fleury was very careful to clarify which part of the movement that she was in support of, so as to not come off as "anti vax". The angle that Veronique was in support of was the one allowing people to lead normal lives again - particularly the children, who have seen their extracurricular activities and organized sports being, at large, stripped away from them.

Whether you are in support of the movement or not, I think there's one thing we can all agree on. COVID-19 is here to stay and if the last two years have taught us anything, it's that we're going to have to find a way to live with it, rather than continuously dividing ourselves into two groups, neither of which are happy with the state of our current lives.
