Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner unveil their amazing skate designs for today's All-Star Game
Earlier this week, prior to the start of the All-Star festivities in Toronto, the Maple Leafs, Auston Matthews, CCM Hockey and SickKids Foundation came together to help make a young patient's dream come true. Auston Matthews visiting young Finn at SickKids, spent some time with him, invited him to the All-Star Game and actually allowed him to design a pair of skates for Matthews to wear at the event. Although Matthews didn't show off Finn's design during the clip, we did get a look at the final design, from CCM Hockey and Auston Matthews:
Matthews isn't the only Leaf sporting some special boots on this occasion, as Mitch Marner is also wearing some unique skates with Team Matthews. Marner shared the design with the Leafs' social media team before the game on Saturday and walked the fans through the details of his skates.
