The NHL's All-Star weekend officially kicks off tonight with the return of the NHL All-Star Draft ahead of tomorrow night's Skills Competition, with the event coming to a close on Saturday when an All-Star Game winner and MVP are announced.

Before today, we knew the identities of the 12 players who would compete in the Skills Competition, but we didn't exactly know which All-Stars would compete in which events. Well, thanks to NHL.com, now we know.
Per the official announcement from the NHL, the Fastenal NHL Fastest Skater event will feature Connor McDavid, William Nylander, Quinn Hughes, Cale Makar and Mathew Barzal.
The Tim Hortons NHL One Timers event will feature Elias Pettersson, Nathan MacKinnon, Leon Draisaitl, Nikita Kucherov, J.T. Miller, Auston Matthews, Mathew Barzal and David Pastrnak
The Scotiabank NHL Passing Challenge event will feature Nathan MacKinnon, William Nylander, Cale Makar, Mathew Barzal, J.T. Miller, Nikita Kucherov, Quinn Hughes, Connor McDavid, Elias Pettersson, Auston Matthews and Leon Draisaitl.
The Rogers NHL Hardest Shot is one of the more popular events year in and year out. This year, the Hardest Shot event will feature Auston Matthews, Cale Makar, David Pastrnak, J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson.
The Upper Deck NHL Stick Handling event will feature Quinn Hughes, Connor McDavid, Elias Pettersson, Nikita Kucherov, Leon Draisaitl, Nathan MacKinnon, David Pastrnak, Mathew Barzal and William Nylander.
Another long-time fan favourite, the Cheetos NHL Accuracy Shooting event will feature Nikita Kucherov, Cale Makar, Connor McDavid, Quinn Hughes, J.T. Miller, David Pastrnak, Nathan MacKinnon, William Nylander, Leon Draisaitl and, of course, Auston Matthews.
In the Honda / Hyundai NHL One-on-One event, the top eight point-earners from the first 6 events will participate and choose the goalie they shoot against. The netminders who will participate in this event will be Jeremy Swayman, Alexandar Georgiev, Jake Oettinger, Sergei Bobrovsky, Cam Talbot, Igor Shesterkin, Thatcher Demko and Connor Hellebuyck.
The final event will be the Pepsi NHL Obstacle Course. Only the top-6 point-earners from the first 7 events will get a crack at the obstacle course. The winner of the $1M prize will be crowned based on who has the most total points at the end. Points will be awarded event by event, with the winner of each event earning 5 points, 2nd place getting 4 points, 3rd place getting 3 points and so on. Points will be doubled for the Pepsi NHL Obstacle Course.
Of course, this all takes place tomorrow. Tonight, however, we look forward to the NHL All-Star Draft.
