Much has been made about Kadri running into Binnington during last night's Game 3. Many think that it was intentional based on Kadri's reputation and history, while others are siding with Kadri in that it was a battle for a loose puck.

During his post game interview with TNT, Kadri was in the middle of responding to the panels question when a water bottle was thrown at him by Binnington. Obviously frustrated with his injury and that Kadri caused it, but it was unnecessary for Binnington to interact at all. Ironically enough, as much as Blues fans are calling for supplemental discipline for Kadri, it is Binnington that will likely be receiving some.

The league announced this afternoon that Kadri will not face any supplemental discipline for his collision with Binnington, but Binnington is currently under investigation for throwing the water bottle and could potentially be fined. To make matters worse, it appears he is going to be out long term for the Blues as they have recalled Charlie Lindgren from the AHL to back up Husso.

The Blues are certainly going to be watching for Kadri anytime he's on the ice in Game 4. Blues head coach Craig Berube has already stated that the Blues were not interested in retaliation, but I wonder if Binnington receiving supplemental discipline might change their minds.
