Anyone who has followed hockey for any length of time will know and understand just how much of Brad Marchand's game revolves around agitating the opposing team. Marchand has made it his personal mission to get under the skin of the opposing team's best players, skirting the line and often even crossing the line to disrupt their game plan.

On October 11th, during the Bruins' first meeting with the Chicago Blackhawks, we saw Brad Marchand attempt to drag rookie Connor Bedard into the Bruins' bench.

Despite this being clear interference, Marchand was not penalized on the play, much to the chagrin of the entire Blackhawks bench.

On Tuesday evening, the Bruins were in Chicago for their 2nd meeting of the season against Bedard and the Hawks. Once again, Marchand was up to his same old tricks, this time backing Bedard up against the boards between the benches and pinning him there for several seconds with the puck nowhere in sight. Once again - no call.

If you ever needed proof that NHL officials give preferential treatment to certain players, look no further than this example right here. I don't know if it's because certain officials find Marchand's antics funny, but he seems to get away with things like this more often than not.
