Hockey is a game of inches, for sure, but there are some goals that, suffice it to say, just should not happen. Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart allowed one of those goals last night.

During a 3rd period dump-in attempt by Lightning defenseman Ian Cole with the Flyers already down 3-0, the puck appears to have deflected off of the official, taking a strange bounce off the boards and then rolling up over Hart's skate as he attempted to close off a hole between himself and the post, and trickled across the goal line.

That's one that we may never see again.. a series of unfortunate bounces for the Flyers and an eventual 4-1 win for the Bolts. That's a tough one for Hart. While it is difficult to anticipate those random bounces, this one seems like one of those preventable goals that I'm sure Hart would like to have back.
