Colton Orr takes Milan Lucic right to the limit during 2013 scrap, appears to make him quit
As we approach August 1st, we are officially in the dog days of summer. The NHL's GMs and many of the players are enjoying a much needed vacation before gearing up for training camp in September, so, as is always the case during the later stages of the summer, it's been pretty quiet on the hockey news front.
During these times, we like to take a look back at some memorable Leafs moments from over the years. This one, in specific, struck a chord with me. A decade or so ago, Milan Lucic was one of the most feared enforcers in the NHL. That's why when Colton Orr went to the distance with him back in 2013, it was quite the feat.
Not only did Orr take Lucic to his limit, it appeared as though Lucic was actually trying to wrangle him in and tie up his arms in an attempt to end the fight. Orr truly was one baaad man.
