Last night, not only did the Leafs lose a 3-2 OT decision to the New York Islanders - they also lost their top defenseman in Morgan Rielly to an apparent knee injury during the third period, which could leave the team in a precarious position moving forward.

While we don't know the extent of the damage yet, as Rielly is expected to undergo some tests on Tuesday to determine how bad the injury is, Dr. Harjas Grewal took to Twitter to break down what Rielly could be dealing with in his medical opinion.

Dr. Grewal revealed that there is some concern of a potential "MCL injury, capsular injury and/or bone-bruise". He did, however, state that he expects Rielly to be okay and that he believes that this will be a day-to-day sort of injury, rather than a lengthier one. Of course, we won't know until Rielly's results are back and Sheldon Keefe provides an update.
