Trade rumours continue to swirl around the NHL as we now less than one week away from the NHL draft. One name that continues to pop up is Philadelphia Flyers forward James Van Riemsdyk.

The former Leafs forward signed a five-year deal with the Flyers in 2018 and has arguably not been the same player since he left the Maple Leafs.

For the last few weeks, there have been teams connected to Van Riemsdyk, and you can add the Seattle Kraken to the list of teams that are interested in the 33-year-old, per The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta.

If Van Riemsdyk is traded to the Kraken, he will bring a much-needed scoring touch to the team, particularly in the net-front aspect. In 82 games this season, he scored 24 goals and put up 14 assists for 38 points - a bit of a down year by his standards, but then again, it was a down year for the Flyers all around.
