The shootout may never impress the sticklers for tradition and hockey purists out there, but Teemu Hartikainen, an Oilers sixth round pick in 2008, who played a total of 52 games for the club from 2010-2013, just attempted the most ridiculous shootout move you might ever see.

Playing in the Swiss-A league for Geneve, Hartikainen scooped the puck with the toe of his blade and cradled it with one hand before releasing it with his hand and stick completely behind him.

Unfortunately he didn't score on the play, but he did fool the goaltender and left himself with a wide open net, but it is still one of the filthiest shootout attempts I've ever seen!
