It's been something that is seldom done, and something the Leafs have yet to do, but we may just see it in action tonight. With the Leafs' top powerplay unit struggling, Sheldon Keefe decided to shuffle the deck in a big way.

Today at the morning skate, Keefe added Michael Bunting to the top unit, effectively changing it to a five forward unit. Mitch Marner will man the point while the Leafs will continue with Auston Matthews, William Nylander, and John Tavares up front. They will now be joined by Bunting who will likely take over the net-front position.

That means that Rasmus Sandin has shifted to the second unit where the Leafs will run a more traditional lineup with Sandin and Conor Timmins manning the points. It will be intriguing to see if the Leafs five-forward unit will help get the powerplay clicking.
