Former Sens defenseman reveals hate messages from Leafs fans

Former Ottawa Senators defenseman and noted Leaf hater Marc Methot revealed some ''kind'' messages Leafs fans have sent him over the past few days. Methot is no stranger to hate, but often brings it upon himself nowadays with his terrible and very biased opinions.

For instance, a couple years ago he tweeted out that the Sens would be better than the Leafs in 2 years yea, aged well, didn't it?

One of the messages he received said he turned his comments off because he can't take the heat and that Matthews would dust him and his 9 fingers. We don't condone these kinds of messages, but some of the messages he's received are good for a laugh.

It's one thing to dislike a team while you play, but hating on a bunch of kids who are half your age long after you retire... that just seems petty.
