The Arizona Coyotes are a team that has made headlines for not the best reasons as of late. Whether it was having an abysmal start last season, undergoing what appears to be a lengthy rebuild or now playing in a college arena, there hasn't been a lot to be excited about if you are a Coyotes fan. Luckily for Arizona, and their fans, they finally received some good news. Per a report, Star Forward Clayton Keller will miss the start of preseason, but should be ready once the regular season begins.

Keller fractured his leg in a game against the San Jose Sharks on March 30th, which sidelined him for the rest of the season. The two-time all-star recorded a career best in goals with 28, and was on track for a career best in points before the injury. The Chesterfield, Missouri native was drafted 7th overall in 2016 (the year Auston Matthews was drafted), and has been a bright spot for the Coyotes since then. Keller has played 360 games for the club, posting 96 goals and 256 points, and developing into the star Arizona hoped he could become after giving him an eight year, $57.2M extension in 2019.

While there isn't much to cheer for as a Coyotes fan this season (other than Connor Bedard), Keller is certainly a player that fans can be excited to watch, and the organization will certainly hope Keller can stay healthy and build upon his great season from last year.
