Whether it be in Boston or somewhere else, Pastrnak is going to get paid this time around. Given the lofty, long-term deals we just saw
Jonathan Huberdeau (8 years at $10.5 million per season) and Johnny Gaudreau (7 years at $9.75 million per season) ink this summer, Pastrnak can likely command a minimum of $10 million per season and possibly north of $11M per season. The Bruins forward has a lot of leverage here. He is still only 27-years-old. And with the cap expected to go up heading into next season, do not be surprised if Pastrnak tops them both.
