Midway through the first period, with the Leafs up 1-0, Columbus entered the Leafs' zone on what looked like an innocent looking play, until Joseph Woll lost his footing while attempting to make a save on a Jack Roslovic shot. After the Jackets scored, Woll could be seen shrugging his shoulders quickly wondering what happened.

Post-game, Woll was all smiles and laughing as he was asked about his stumble. "I can't say that's happened to me before. I wish I could it blame on the skates or something but I just fell. Yeah, caught a rut or something & tried to make a save in mid air. Didn't work."

The comical moment for Woll didn't end up costing the Leafs the game as Zach Aston-Reese, Alexander Kerfoot and Auston Matthews all tallied to ensure the Leafs got the win. Woll stopped 24 of 26 shots for his fourth win of the season. With Matt Murray listed as 'day-to-day' Woll could see another game or two between the pipes before the regular season ends with the Leafs playing the Habs Saturday and back-to-back against Florida and Tampa Monday and Tuesday.
